All of my stained glass art is made using solder that contains lead, unless otherwise noted. There is minimal risk associated with decorative leaded glass hanging in your home as long as you avoid ingestion. This can be done by wearing gloves or thoroughly washing your hands after handling your new piece. 

 

To keep your sun catcher looking shiny and prevent oxidation, which can lead to white or flaking solder, polish your piece occasionally with a wax or furniture polish.
